Our Local Health Network

The Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) manages the delivery of public hospital services and other community based health services as determined by the state government for the Yorke and Northern region.

Governance

The Yorke and Northern LHN Governing Board is responsible for the overall governance and oversight of local service delivery by the LHN, including governance of performance and budget achievement, clinical governance, safety and quality, risk management and fulfillment of the Governing Board functions and responsibilities. The Governing Board is responsible and accountable to the Minister for Health and Wellbeing.

The Yorke and Northern Local Health Network Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan May 2023 – May 2024 outlines the YNLHN’s commitment to reconciliation by focusing on building relationships and creating meaningful opportunities through relationships, respect, opportunities and governance.

Disability Access and Inclusion Plan

Yorke and Northern LHN is dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and their carers, through promoting a disability-friendly approach to our services, increasing opportunities for engagement and contribution, improving physical access to buildings and facilities, and enhancing disability awareness and understanding among staff and volunteers. We want people with disability and their carers to be able to access and participate in all aspects of our society, including health services and programs to support quality of life and the capacity to achieve positive life outcomes. To this end, we are committed to implementing this Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2017 - 2022 (PDF 102KB).
