Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) has unveiled its bold new strategy to become a centre of multidisciplinary research excellence. The YNLHN Research Strategic Framework (2025-2030) PDF 12MB) strengthens the Yorke and Northern’s research culture and leadership by laying the groundwork for industry collaboration, continuous learning and strengthening of local expertise. It will further cement Yorke and Northern as a leader in patient care, while advancing medical and wider rural health innovation. Importantly, the plan sends a signal to doctors and other highly skilled health professionals that places like the Clare Valley, Yorke Peninsula and Mid North are keen to support research, making the region a more attractive proposition for doctors to build a career.
