Our brand new Mental Health Inpatient Unit at Noarlunga Hospital is opening its doors, offering a fresh, modern environment in Adelaide's southern suburbs. Our Vision & Model of Care

Our vision for the SALHN Mental Health Rehabilitation Service (MHRS) is to be a national leader, delivering best practice, evidence-based mental health rehabilitation in a responsive way for consumers and their families in Adelaide's southern suburbs.

MHRS will include 24 non-acute inpatient beds and 20 community rehabilitation centre beds, with group rehabilitation programs offered jointly with SALHN Community Mental Health Services.
We're providing a mental health rehabilitation service that's person-centred, human rights-based, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented.

Our model of care, backed by a clinical services plan, delivers comprehensive, compassionate, person-centred care, grounded in SALHN's quality principles of safe, appropriate, efficient, effective, accessible, and acceptable care, recognising each person's unique needs.
