Aboriginal workforce at NALHN

The NALHN Aboriginal Workforce Action Plan 2019–2022 (PDF 2MB), outlines the commitment by NALHN to attract, retain and develop our Aboriginal Workforce.

The members of the NALHN Aboriginal Workforce Meeting have led the development of the Plan to increase the number, representation and retention of the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce.

All managers and supervisors have a responsibility to progress initiatives that are outlined in the Plan with defined leadership roles for NALHN Executives and Divisional Directors.

The NALHN Aboriginal Workforce Action Plan builds upon the SA Health Aboriginal Workforce Framework 2017–2022 defined through the concept of PRIDE. SA Health’s PRIDE principles support the national reconciliation agenda and will help to close the gap on health disparity.
