Lyell McEwin Hospital Clinical Trials Unit

The Lyell McEwin Hospital (LMH) purpose built Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) offers facilities for participants including a waiting area, lounge room and kitchen. Separate coordinator offices, dedicated clinic rooms, blood collection, a laboratory, secure pharmacy storage, monitoring rooms and a meeting room.

The Clinical Trial Unit conducts trials and has a dedicated research team for the following indications:

  • Endocrinology
  • Gastroenterology & Hepatology
  • Psychiatry
  • Cardiology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Renal
  • Respiratory

Trial staff are Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certified and highly experienced in the use of electronic data capture, electronic capture Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs), conducting ECGs, venepuncture, processing and shipping laboratory samples.
