Clinical Guidelines
Clinical programs and practice guidelines
The SA Health Clinical Practice Guidelines assist health care providers in the appropriate management of their patients.
Clinical Prioritisation Criteria (CPC)
The CPC were developed by clinicians for use by referring health professionals, often General Practitioners, to assist with decisions about referral into public specialist outpatient services.
The CPC are clinical decision-making support tools that assist in ensuring referred patients are accepted and categorised based on standardised statewide clinical referral criteria.
You can find a CPC on the SA Heath Clinical Prioritisation Criteria page.
Health Pathways
HealthPathways is designed and written for use during a primary care consultation. Each pathway provides clear and concise guidance for assessing and managing a patient with a particular symptom or condition in primary care. Pathways also include information about where and who to refer to.
For more information see the HealthPathways website.
