Colourfull Abilities

Colourfull Abilities helps to increase social and community participation for LGBTQIA+ people engaged with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Services include:

  • individual support
  • social groups
  • LGBTQIA+ disability inclusive training.

PEACE Multicultural Services

PEACE Multicultural Services offer social and peer-support groups for South Australian LGBTIQA+ communities.

This includes:

  • Boyz is a monthly meet-up for gay or same-sex attracted men between 18 and 35 years of age, particularly those from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Unidos is an online group offering peer support to LGBTIQA+ communities, looking for friendship, social support and networking opportunities.

Pink Parents Adelaide

Pink Parents Adelaide is a community group for LGBTQIA+ families. Activities include:

  • playgroups for children of all ages and abilities
  • inclusive meets ups for parents and children
  • annual camps with like-minded families.

Rainbow Hub SA

Rainbow Hub SA is a community-led organisation providing a voice for LGBTIQA+ people over 50 years of age. Services include:

  • health and wellness resources
  • community events
  • workshops.

SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance

SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance champions the health, safety, inclusion and equality of LGBTIQA+ South Australians. Services include:

  • advocacy for policy change and practice improvement
  • social events and activities

Transcend Australia

Transcend Australia provides support to families, parents and caregivers with transgender, gender diverse or non-binary children. Services include:

  • individual family support
  • group family support
  • education and training programs
  • social events and activities for families and transgender people
  • fact sheets and guides.

A confidential intake and assessment appointment is essential.

Uniting Communities Bfriend

Bfriend is a free and confidential program supporting LGBTIQA+ communities and their families with questions about sexuality, gender identity and intersex variations. Services include:

  • personal and family counselling
  • community connections
  • workplace training.
