The South Australian Department for Education and the Department for Health and Wellbeing have a formal agreement with joint responsibilities for the support and provision of the School Immunisation Program.

School Immunisation Program providers consult and negotiate delivery of the program with all schools to achieve best outcomes and coverage rates.

Schools and educators are encouraged to use the below messaging and resources through the school’s parent communication channels to help inform their communities about the School Immunisation Program and the importance of immunisation.

The Department for Education’s School Immunisation Program- vaccinations for year 7 and 10 students webpage and education school checklist (DOCX 103 KB) includes further information to assist schools to promote and assist in coordinating the delivery of the School Immunisation Program.
