School Immunisation Program

In 2024, vaccines will be offered to students in Years 7 and 10.

South Australia’s School Immunisation Program provides free recommended vaccines for students as part of the National Immunisation Program.

Fully trained and qualified immunisation teams (health workers) visit all high schools in South Australia to deliver the program.

Year 7 students are offered diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough) (dTpa) and human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccinations, and Year 10 students are offered meningococcal ACWY and meningococcal B vaccinations.
