Psychiatrists answer your queries Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Statewide Eating Disorder Service
Professionals can contact the Statewide Eating Disorder Service for advice, liaison and education to help care for people with an eating disorder. An intake clinician is available during business hours and will respond to your enquiry promptly.

Toward Home Alliance - Support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness

The Toward Home Alliance offer a range of services for people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness across Adelaide CBD, inner and outer southern metro area and the Adelaide Hills.
Services include: providing emergency, short-term accommodation and support to access and maintain sustainable housing, case management, assistance with physical health and wellbeing needs and referrals to other specialist services.
Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) Hepatology Nurses
The SALHN Hepatology Nurses provide a link between public hospital specialist services and general practice, giving specialised support to general practitioners to assist in the management of patients with hepatitis B or hepatitis C amongst other things.
The Hepatology Nurses have supported southern GPs in various ways from taking on the Hepatitis C management and treatment for patients to supporting GPs to manage and treat their patients and somewhere in between!
The Hepatology Nurses strongly encourage you to call their service (they are happy to take calls if you feel appropriate whilst your patient is in the consulting room to allow quick action linking up to their pharmacy resources etc).

Clinical guidance including suggested GP management and referral pathways can be found at HealthPathways SA. To register for a login, please complete the short Health Pathways login form. Even if the pathway has not been localised for South Australia, the clinical guidance for GP assessment and primary care management will be up to date and written by colleagues in New Zealand.
