The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network launched its inaugural Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan - RAP (PDF 4.45MB) in 2023.
The EFNLHN vision for reconciliation is to provide culturally safe, respectful, and responsive services and care for every First Nations consumer across our range of services.
These services will be delivered within an environment where First Nations staff can thrive and develop their careers in a safe and supportive environment amongst colleagues who show respect and interest for their unique living culture and views, and deeply value them.
This, in turn, supports an enhanced focus on providing culturally appropriate and community-aligned healthcare to the broader community.
By creating a safe and culturally attuned environment for both staff and consumers, and by valuing the inputs and experiences of our First Nations staff and consumers, the entire Local Health Network is able to walk forward together in reconciliation.
