Peterborough Soldiers' Memorial Hospital provides acute services ranging from in-hospital care for adults and children by local general practitioners to outpatients and aged care beds.
Patients may commence their stay at Peterborough Soldiers' Memorial Hospital but finish their care at one of the neighbouring hospitals with specialist medical or allied health input when required. All hospitals in the region work collaboratively to support the patient care needs.
The COVID-19 Clinic is located at the Peterborough Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and Health Service. The service is available from 2.00 to 3.00pm, 7 days a week.
An appointment is required. Please contact the Goyder's Line Medical Centre on 8677 6500 for a phone assessment. If you meet the criteria for testing, you will be asked to contact the Peterborough Hospital on 8651 0400 to make an appointment for the test. On presenting at the front door of the hospital you are asked to ring bell and notify staff of your arrival. Staff will direct you to the ambulance bay, where you’ll be met by nursing staff and taken to a dedicated room for further assessment.

When you arrive at the Peterborough Soldiers' Memorial Hospital accident and emergency service, you will be seen by a nurse to collect information and assess your illness or injury prior to seeing a doctor.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency you can present to the accident and emergency service at Peterborough Soldiers' Memorial Hospital.
Alternatively, telephone Rural and Remote Mental Health Service on 13 14 65 for mental health counselling, support and information 24 hours, 7 days.
Parking is available at the front of the hospital via the main entrance off of Hurlstone street. There is also disabled parking.
Peterborough Soldiers' Memorial Hospital and Health Service has full disability access. If you have special needs and are unsure, please contact reception who will assist you with your specific enquiry.
