Patient and Family Representatives

The role of the Patient & Family Representative is to be independent of, while working in partnership with staff, in their provision of holistic care by increasing the involvement of patients, families and carers. The aim is supporting patient and family-centred care, and thus improving the care experience for consumers and staff.

Preventing and Controlling Healthcare Associated Infections (PCHAI) Steering Committee

The committee is accountable to SALHN Clinical Council and exists to support SALHN Executive to ensure SALHNā€™s practices, systems and structures meet the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS) Standard 3, Preventing and Controlling Health Care Associated Infections.

Meetings are held monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 12.30 to 2.00pm at Flinders Medical Centre.
