Ageing Well Community and Research Grants

Congratulations to the recipients of the latest Ageing Well Community and Research Grants.

In 2024-2025, Office for Ageing Well will provide 51 organisations with just over $750,000 in Grants for Seniors, Positive Ageing Fellowship Grants, Age Friendly SA Grants and Impact Research Grants for Ageing Well.

Sixteen of the successful recipients are located in regional areas, stretching from the Iron Triangle, and the mid-North to the South-East of South Australia.

The grants will fund community projects and research into people’s sense of community reflecting the South Australian Government’s commitment to supporting South Australians to age well.

Recipient organisations work with older people, including those from diverse cultures and backgrounds, to deliver projects and activities that contribute to building and maintaining inclusive communities.

Grants for Seniors and Positive Ageing Fellowship Grants are for non-government, non-profit incorporated organisations.

Age Friendly SA Grants are offered for local governments and equivalent organisations, including councils, South Australian Regional Local Government Associations, and Aboriginal and Outback Communities.

And Impact Research Grants for Ageing Well are for researchers and research organisations.
