A range of aged care, community health, disability support and allied-health care services are delivered by our Country Health Connect team. This includes support for patients during their hospital stay and once they have returned home, or via appointment. To find out more visit Country Health Connect.
Obstetric and birthing services are provided by Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service with home visit follow up provided by our midwifery team.
A shared care arrangement with the resident Obstetrics team, General Practitioners and midwives assists women with care and treatment before, during and after childbirth.

Caters to the mental health needs of youth (ages 16 to 24), adult and older individuals. The service offers triage, assessment, and various levels of intensive support, as well as assertive management or care based on identified needs. The team consists of nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, support workers, a psychiatry registrar, and the resident psychiatrist. Visiting psychiatrists, along with tele-medicine, also support the work of the team.
The Mount Gambier Integrated Mental Health Inpatient Unit has improved access to acute mental health services for the Limestone Coast community, reducing the need to travel to metropolitan hospitals.
The Unit features six single-patient bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, as well as a comfortably furnished dining and lounge area, creating a welcoming, home-like environment.
The service is supported by a full team of multi-disciplinary staff, including a resident psychiatrist and psychiatry registrar, which brings valuable benefits to mental health consumers in the region and the broader community team.

The Service Plan identifies a range of service initiatives which will support the provision of safe, quality services closer to home.
