Port Pirie GP Plus Health Care Centre services will continue to work with an increased focus on chronic disease management, avoiding hospitalisation and care in the community. Services encourage consumers and/or patients to participate in managing their own health with the support of their health care team.
Paediatric services
Two specialist paediatric services are available through the centre.
The YNLHN Integrated Multidisciplinary Paediatric Outpatient Service provides specialist paediatric assessment and multidisciplinary care for children and young people with medical, developmental, behavioural and complex paediatric needs where psychosocial factors impact health and development. The service is available to children and young people across the Yorke and Northern Region.
The Out of Home Care Clinic provides Comprehensive Health and Development Assessments for children and young people under the guardianship of the Chief Executive, within the Department for Child Protection Port Pirie and Kadina catchment areas.
