GP Plus Super Clinic Gilles Plains is home to two co-located SA Health services: the South Australian Intellectual Disability Health Service and the Allied Health Children and Families Service. The co-location of these services supports integrated care delivery and enhances access to health services for the community.
Services
South Australian Intellectual Disability Health Service (SAIDHS)
SAIDHS, formerly known as the Centre for Disability Health, is a state-wide, specialised health service funded by SA Health. SAIDHS provides medical and mental health care for adults with diagnosed intellectual disability and complex needs. Complex needs may include autism, mental illness, behaviour or communication issues and other complexities which have been difficult to manage in community services, such as GP and community mental health services.
Children and Families Services
Children and Families Services provide community based assessment and therapy to children with developmental delays by focusing on early intervention for children aged between 1-4 years of age.
Our team works collaboratively with families and their community to support children’s development and strengthen family relationships by providing services alongside parent/carer skill development programs. Each family is given a care plan which identifies priority areas for therapy and services that can be provided.

GP Plus Super Clinic
Free services for children up to preschool commencement age and support to their families or carers who are not eligible for a similar service elsewhere.
A variety of group programs and individual services are offered to support children with their development including:
- dietetics
- occupational therapy
- physiotherapy
- social work
- speech pathology

Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm

Public transport
Bus services 271 and 273 operate on North East Road. Bus stop 29 is located near the facility.
