This forum is an opportunity for allied and scientific health clinicians with an interest in research and quality improvement activities to learn about the breadth of research projects being undertaken across allied and scientific health in South Australia and for clinical researchers to showcase their work.

Allied and Scientific Health Research Forum 2024

The SA Health Allied Health Research Forum will be held on Wednesday 18 September between 9:00am – 4:00pm with the theme “Illuminating Value”.

Learn about allied and scientific health research projects from across South Australia with presentations by both experienced and emerging clinical researchers from SAHMRI, Health Translation SA, University of South Australia, University of Adelaide, Flinders University and SA Health.

This is an opportunity for health professionals with an interest in research and quality improvement to hear about the projects being undertaken across South Australia by allied health and scientific health professionals and for clinical researchers to showcase their work.

There is no cost for SA Health allied and scientific health staff to attend, thanks to the support of the Allied & Scientific Health Office.

Attendees from outside of SA Health or non-allied health roles are very welcome to attend.

Research Forum Abstract Submission

Abstract submissions for the Allied and Scientific Health Research Forum open on Thursday 4 April.

We invite research submissions that highlight the value of allied or scientific health within SA Health. Successful submissions will be delivered either via oral presentation (10 minutes with additional question time) or poster.

  • Submissions open Thursday 04 April 2024
  • Submissions close 11:59pm Friday 21 June 2024
  • Successful applicants notified by 15 July 2024
