National Allied Health Conference


The National Allied Health Conference will be held in Adelaide, 11 to 14th August 2025.
The National Allied Health Conference is held biennially, showcasing the value and impact of allied health.

The 2025 conference will be supported by the Allied Health and Scientific Health Office in the Department for Health and Wellbeing.

Allied and Scientific Health Awards


The inaugural Allied and Scientific Health Awards, held on 27 March 2025, acknowledged and celebrated the exceptional contributions that Allied and Scientific Health Staff make to the South Australian health system. The winners demonstrated significant impact across the spectrum of settings, further highlighting the breadth and scope of allied and scientific health staff across our state.

Allied and Scientific Health Research Forum 2024

Held on Wednesday 18 September “Illuminating Value” showcased allied and scientific research projects from across South Australia. Further information is available ASHO intranet page for SA Health staff.

Allied Health Advanced Clinical Practice Symposium 2024


The highly successful 2024 Allied Health Advanced Clinical Practice Symposium was held on 23rd May 2024 and widely attended by more than 300 people. Event information, including presentations and poster displays can be found in the ASHO intranet page.

International Allied Health Professions Day

Held annually on 14 October, Allied Health Professions Day is an internationally recognised event that acknowledges the incredible multidisciplinary teams who diagnose, prevent, and manage the health of their patients through evidence-based practices and informed decision making.


SA Health has over 5,000 allied and scientific health professionals providing a range of diagnostic, technical and therapeutic services across South Australia.
