Commonwealth-State Funding Agreements Policy

The Commonwealth-State Funding Agreements Policy (PDF 208KB) sets out the mandatory requirements that apply across SA Health to ensure the appropriate negotiation, implementation and monitoring of Commonwealth-State funding agreements, known as Schedules to the Federation Funding Agreement – Health, for the delivery of health initiatives and programs in South Australia.
Applicability
This policy applies to all employees and contracted staff of SA Health; that is all employees and contracted staff of the Department for Health and Wellbeing, Local Health Networks (including state- wide services aligned with those Networks) and SA Ambulance Service.
In particular, this policy applies to Business Units within SA Health which deliver projects or programs that receive or will potentially receive Commonwealth Federal Financial Relations funding via a Commonwealth-State funding agreement.
