Health Advisory Councils provide advice to their local Health Services and to the Minister for Health and Wellbeing.
A major role of the Whyalla Hospital Health Services Health Advisory Council (HAC) is to relay ideasand views from the community to the local Health Service.

The Whyalla Health Advisory Council meetings are held bi-monthly on the last Thursday of the month at 5.00 pm at theWalga/Garna Meeting Room at the Whyalla Hospital and Health Service.

There are also vacancies within the Whyalla Hospital and Health Services Health Advisory Council including medical, resident and staff representatives. Residents of Whyalla are invited to apply for these vacancies.
