Port Augusta, Roxby Downs, Woomera Health Advisory Council

A major role of the Port Augusta, Roxby Downs and Woomera Health Advisory Council (HAC) is to relay ideas and views from the community to the local Health Service.


The Port Augusta, Roxby Downs and Woomera Health Advisory Council can include:

  • Up to 9 community members
  • A local member of Parliament or his or her nominee
  • A medical practitioner member
  • A worker from the regional local health network

Annual General Meeting 

Date: 3 November 2022

Time: 5.15 pm - 6.30 pm

Location: Outback Community Authority, 26 Mildred Street, Port Augusta West OR if you are from Roxby Downs/Woomera a phone/Microsoft Teams Link is available.

Guest speaker:  Kim Hewett, Senior Service Design Consultant, Planning and Population Health, Rural Support Service who has been leading the Roxby Downs Health Service Planning Project.

There is a vacancy of an Aboriginal Resident Representative position on our Health Advisory Council and one other vacancy.
