Port Augusta, Roxby Downs, Woomera Health Advisory Council

A major role of the Port Augusta, Roxby Downs and Woomera Health Advisory Council (HAC) is to relay ideas and views from the community to the local Health Service.

Membership

The Port Augusta, Roxby Downs and Woomera Health Advisory Council can include:

  • Up to 9 community members
  • A local member of Parliament or his or her nominee
  • A medical practitioner member
  • A worker from the regional local health network


Annual General Meeting 

Date: 2 November 2023

Time: 5.15 pm

Location: At the Port Augusta Hospital, Administration Building, Level 3 Large Meeting Room

Guest speaker:  Angela McLachlan, Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery presenting about FUNLHN recruitment strategies. 

There are vacancies for Community Representative and Aboriginal Resident Representative position on the Health Advisory Council.
