Nursing and Midwifery Enterprise Agreement
On 30 April 2025, formal negotiations commenced for a new enterprise agreement to replace Nursing/Midwifery (South Australian Public Sector) Enterprise Agreement 2022 (PDF 10MB) which nominally expired on 31 July 2025
Process for negotiations
As required as part of the Fair Work Act 1994 (SA), a Notice of Intention to Bargain (the Notice) was issued on 10 April 2025. The Notice identified the employees who are proposed to be covered by the new enterprise agreement and their right to representation. Employees can be represented by an employee association under the Fair Work Act 1994 (SA) or an agent of their choice.
Negotiations for a new Agreement are underway, with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (South Australian Branch) (ANMF-SA) providing a detailed presentation of their log of claims in May and June 2025.
Further progress updates on bargaining will be published on this webpage.
