Sexual health services

There is a range of free, bulk-billed and/or low-cost sexual health services in SA. Any General Practitioner should be able to provide you with information and care relating to your sexual health; however, some people may feel more comfortable seeking sexual healthcare from specialist providers.

Some of these include:

Adelaide Sexual Health Centre

Adelaide Sexual Health Centre offers free and confidential testing, diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (including HIV). Services are available by appointment only. Before contacting Adelaide Sexual Health Centre, you are asked to complete the 'AM I OK' self-assessment tool.

Health professionals can also contact the Adelaide Sexual Health Centre for expert advice on sexually transmitted infections and HIV.

SHINE SA

RAPIDO! Rapid HIV Testing Service

RAPIDO is a joint program of SHINE SA and SAMESH. It offers a free, less confronting testing experience for gay men, men who have sex with men (MSM), and trans and gender diverse people.
