Minlaton Health Service offers residential aged care at the co-located Melaleuca Court. Melaleuca Court provides respite care and accommodation for older people with a high level of need. Our facilities include secure premises for residents with dementia.

Aboriginal health team

Home And Community Care (HACC) and Community Aged Care packages are provided to Aboriginal people in the community to assist with home care and support, personal care assistance and home-delivered meals to enable older people to remain living at home. Narungga Elder Care covers the whole Yorke Peninsula with clients currently living in the Yorke Peninsula area. 

These services are provided through three sites:

The Aboriginal health team works with local Aboriginal communities to improve their health and well being. They advise, inform and refer to mainstream services. They also provide health screening, diabetes care, counselling, and assist health workers to understand the needs and culture of the Aboriginal community.

The Yorke and Northern Region Community Health Services – Yorke Peninsula provides a range of services from six sites in the region:
