The 24-hour emergency service is staffed by a registered nurse who offers assessment and treatment and a doctor is available on call. Cleve has an ambulance service and access to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Emergency after hours advice is available via Healthdirect (telephone 1800 022 222) or by contacting the hospital.

Medical and surgical hospital services

There are birthing facilities at Port Lincoln, Port Augusta and Whyalla and we are able to provide post natal care.

Crestview Hostel provides low to medium level residential care for older people in a home like environment. Higher level care is provided at Cleve Hospital, adjacent to Crestview Hostel. Respite care is available at the hostel and hospital.

Cleve and District Retirement Cottages is a mix of rental and private accommodation in 15 self contained units for retired persons.
