IHI Open School Training

The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School is an online educational community. There are more than 30 online courses available. SA staff enrolled in courses have the option of earning a Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety.

The IHI Open School course topics span quality improvement, patient safety and health care leadership and integrate with other training currently offered by SA Health, including root cause analysis.

The courses are suitable for SA Health staff with an emerging interest and involvement in patient safety and quality improvement, as well as staff who are responsible for safety and quality leadership.

SA Health has enrolment access to the IHI Open School until 31 July 2021.
