Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients undergoing renal dialysis and accessing services through Central and Northern Adelaide Renal and Transplantation Service (CNARTS), are also able to access extra services in place to help, from diagnosis through to starting and accessing treatment.

RAH health and wellbeing hub
The Royal Adelaide Hospital Aboriginal and Torres Straight Island Health and Wellbeing hub, located on Level 3 of the RAH, just to the left of the main entrance, has a range of services to help patients and families.
The Aboriginal Health Practitioners on hand can assist with a range of support services, with the hub itself offering a space for Aboriginal people from diverse backgrounds and rural locations to meet in a safe and supportive environment.
The hub is open 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
The Rural Support Service (RSS) mobile dialysis truck
The RSS operates a mobile dialysis unit for kidney dialysis patients wanting to visit their home communities in the most remote areas of South Australia.
The 'truck' has 3 dialysis chairs and provides short-term dialysis to a number of communities including:
- the APY Lands (Amata, Pukatja, Fregon)
- Marla
- Coober Pedy
- Yalata.
