Healthy living means making healthy choices. There are a number of resources and information available to help you improve your own health and wellbeing.

Check in with your GP

A good way to assess and improve your health is to look at all the things you can do which would positively affect your health.

Your GP can give you lots of information and also run health checks to determine the state of your health. They can then suggest ways to reduce your risk of chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease through lifestyle changes.

Access FREE health coaching

SA Health offers Get Healthy a free health lifestyle service where individuals receive one to one support from a trained lifestyle coach to make improvements to healthy eating, being physically active and maintaining a healthy weight.

Need help to quit smoking?

Many people have success in stopping smoking if they use a support service such as Quitline (13 7848), which offers free telephone support, a call back service and other services.
