COVID-19 client information

SA Dental Service is committed to supporting the South Australian community through the COVID-19 pandemic.

SA Dental Service will be cancelling all appointments for routine child and adult dental care and non-urgent specialist care. We will be rebooking appointments when we resume full services and will continue to provide child and adult emergency dental care.

If you have an existing appointment scheduled, your local clinic will contact you to cancel your appointment.

If you are being treated, tested or are self-isolating for COVID-19, and you have a dental emergency, please phone your local clinic for advice.

The following measures have been implemented across our dental clinics to ensure the safety of our clients and our staff:

  • staff continue to practice strict infection control and hand hygiene procedures

  • the number of appointments are being reduced and/or staggered to minimise congestion in the waiting room.

  • frequently accessed areas and surfaces are being regularly cleaned.

  • all non-essential paper materials have been removed from the waiting rooms
