COVID-19 clinics and testing centres

If you meet the criteria for testing for COVID-19, there are a range of testing options available.

People who have any of the symptoms below, even if mild, should get tested for COVID-19 as soon as symptoms appear:

  • fever or chills
  • cough
  • sore throat
  • runny nose
  • shortness of breath
  • loss of taste or smell
  • diarrhoea and vomiting

Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency, such as difficulty breathing or chest pain.

Opening times, testing criteria, special instructions and any referral or appointment requirements can be viewed on the individual clinic pages.

Outdoor drive-through and walk-in testing sites may close at short notice due to weather. Follow SA Health on Twitter or Facebook for the latest updates on site closures.


Bookings are required for the Ridgehaven WaterworldRepat Health Precinct and Port Adelaide (Mundy St).


Bookings are required at Victoria Park Pakapakanthi from 10am-8pm (outside of these hours, bookings are not required).


If no bookings are available on the day you need to get tested, use the clinic finder above to find an alternative testing location.

Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services testing

If you would like to know more about COVID-19, or feel that you have some symptoms, please call your local SA Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (PDF 696KB).

Patients need a referral from their GP to access home testing services.

Cost of COVID-19 tests

There is no cost to Medicare eligible patients for COVID-19 testing if you are tested at SA Health or Primary Health Network (PHN) facilities.

Private providers may charge a gap for COVID-19 testing.
