COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan update

To keep our state safe, we are ensuring all South Australians have access to safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines as soon as possible. Effective now, in line with the advice of ATAGI, the Pfizer vaccine will be prioritised for people under 50 years of age across all phases. The AstraZeneca vaccine will be prioritised for people aged 50 years and over.

People over 50 years can now book an appointment to be vaccinated with AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine at GP Respiratory Clinics and some GP clinics, or at one of our new dedicated vaccination clinics, including Wayville and Women's and Children's Hospital.

People under 50 in eligible groups can also book now for the Wayville Vaccination Clinic, with more metro and regional clinics opening in the coming weeks.
