COVID-19 Health Exemptions Process Review

A report about administrative improvements to the Health Exemptions process has been released, following a review by the Department of Premier and Cabinet. SA Health has accepted the 13 recommendations of the review which include improving records management, triaging urgent applications and actions to appropriately manage the large volume of cross-border exemption applications.

Two new COVID-19 cases

There were two new COVID-19 cases in South Australia recorded yesterday. Both cases, a man in his 30s and a man in his 50s, recently returned from overseas and tested positive in quarantine. Both cases have been in a medi-hotel since their arrival and there is no public health risk. The pair tested positive on their day one test and will remain in isolation.
