COVID-19 restriction update

From Saturday 3 October, the standing consumption of food and drink will be able to resume outdoors at licensed venues.

Private functions at licensed venues, including weddings, with a maximum of 150 guests will also be able to have standing consumption and dancing indoors or outdoors. These functions must have a defined guest list and COVID Marshals. 

The new Public Activities Direction will also include changes to short stay accommodation in preparation for schoolies.
