Students in years 7 and 10 can receive free vaccinations at school through the National Immunisation Program.
For health professionals
The School Immunisation Program (SIP) was established to deliver immunisations recommended for adolescents in year 7 and year 10 under the National Immunisation Program (NIP). South Australia also offers a state funded meningococcal B program to students in year 10.
Each year, the SIP is delivered to over 200 high schools and over 40,000 students across South Australia. SIP providers include local councils, local health networks (LHNs), general practice, community health services and Aboriginal health services.
