There has been significant growth in the number of vaccines on the National Immunisation Program Schedule in the past decade which has resulted in increased complexity of the immunisation schedule and immunisation programs in general. With an expanding range of health professionals becoming involved in delivering immunisation programs, this course provides GPs with the up-to-date knowledge required to support their central role in vaccine management and immunisation program delivery.
This activity attracts 40 QI and CPD points, and can assist with satisfying the professional development requirements for GPs within the 2017-19 triennium period (1 January 2017 to 31 December 2019). A minimum of 130 QI & CPD points are required which must include two Category 1 activities, one of which must be a QI activity.
