Regional Local Health Network Scholarship Program

The regional Local Health Networks are committed to providing a range of high quality health services to meet the needs of people living in Regional South Australia. Regional Local Health Networks scholarships are for permanent employees of one of the six regional Local Health Networks, who are currently studying or about to commence postgraduate or certificate level study in 2020.

Funding is provided for one academic year/one scholarship intake. If you require funding for more than one year, you will need to apply for a scholarship again the following year.

Professor Margaret Tobin Mental Health Scholarship

Each year a scholarship is offered to recognise the contribution of Professor Margaret Tobin to the field of Mental Health. The scholarship is for permanent employees undertaking postgraduate study in the field of mental health.

Scholarship applications for certificate level study will be considered for the following disciplines:

Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice

Applications are accepted from permanent employees who are currently studying or about to commence study in Cert IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice (HLT40213)

This Scholarship is only open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees.

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance

Applications are accepted from permanent employees who are currently studying or about to commence studying Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees are strongly encouraged to apply.
