Consultation on the draft SA Clinical Genomics Plan
Advances in genomics have revolutionised our understanding of the most complex biological systems in health and disease.
It is now time for South Australia to look to the future and develop a plan to use clinical genomics to benefit the health of South Australians.
Genomics may help with disease prevention, earlier diagnosis and better targeted treatment. To realise these benefits while managing the associated risks and social, legal and ethical issues, a draft SA Clinical Genomics Plan has been developed.
We are asking the community, consumer groups, clinicians, researchers and other stakeholders for their comments on the draft plan to take clinical genomics forward in South Australia.
