Patient and Family Representatives

The role of the Patient & Family Representative is to be independent of, while working in partnership with staff, in their provision of holistic care by increasing the involvement of patients, families and carers. The aim is supporting patient and family-centred care, and thus improving the care experience for consumers and staff.

Challenging Behaviours Committee

The committee will contribute to organisational performance through identifying key areas of risk in regard to challenging behaviours within SALHN, which in turn will inform the development, implementation and oversight of prevention and response strategies to challenging behaviour in the provision of health services.

Meetings are held monthly at Flinders Medical Centre.
