Consumer and Community Engagement at SALHN

The Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) values the positive contributions consumers and the community make in contributing to improvements in health services quality, safety, equity, management and integrity to the decision making process of committees.

SALHNā€™s Consumer and Community Engagement Model supports a Local Health Network approach, offers diversity of opportunities for involvement and ensures that the consumer voice is embedded in all levels of service planning, design, implementation and evaluation and in patient care.

To Listen, To Act, To Make Better, Together is our organisational principle and was developed by our Partnering with Consumers Advisory Group in 2018.

  • We will deliver a service which is respectful, useful and reliable
  • We will deliver a service that is recognised by consumers and staff working together.
