Consumer Partnerships

The Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health’s (CEIH) aims to support health services to deliver safer, more innovative and efficient healthcare through empowering consumers and clinicians.

The CEIH will seek to engage consumers, carers and the community by involving them in the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of its work program. The CEIH will develop clear mechanisms and structures to support this, including the creation of a Consumer Advisory Committee, membership on all Clinical Network Steering Committees, advisory committees and consumer representation in all projects.

Current Opportunities

We are now seeking expressions of interest for consumer representation on:

  • Cardiology Statewide Clinical Network Steering Committee, applications close Friday 1st November 2019.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide a consumer perspective to help with the Statewide Clinical Network’s strategic planning and identification of key priorities for action in Cardiology services.

Who are we looking for?

We have two vacancies on  the Statewide Cardiology Clinical Network Steering Committee and are looking for people who:

  • are passionate about improving care and experiences for patients and their families using Cardiology services.
  • have experience in using Cardiology services as a patient or family member
  • are good communicators, team players, and problem solvers
  • can commit to the activities of the steering committee.

What are Statewide Clinical Networks?

Statewide Clinical Networks are all the health professionals, health service organisations, consumers and carers who work collaboratively with the goal of high quality care in a particular area. The Steering Committees provides oversight and support to the Clinical Network.
