COVID-19 update 171

24 December 2020

New COVID-19 cases

There have been two new cases of COVID-19 today.

One case is a male in his 70s who recently returned from overseas and has been in a medi-hotel since his arrival.

One case is male in his 20s who returned a weak positive test, but further serology test results confirmed it was an old infection. However, as it is the first time he has returned a positive test, the result will still be added to our overall case numbers. He is not an active case. No further public health action is required.
