COVID SAfe Check-In campaign

From today, retail stores will be required to keep a record of everyone who enters their stores. This includes staff and customers at supermarkets, department stores, hardware stores and general retail stores. Stores must display a QR code and people are required to check in upon entry.

A range of resources for businesses and consumers, including translated materials, are available for download at www.sa.gov.au/checkin.

Mandatory mask use update

From today, masks are no longer mandatory in pharmacies. From Wednesday 23 December, masks will no longer be mandatory for people in health care settings. More information on mask use, including frequently asked questions, is available at www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/COVIDmasks.

New COVID-19 case

There has been one new case of COVID-19 today. The case is a man in his 40s who recently returned from overseas. He has been in a medi-hotel since his arrival and returned a positive result on his day one test.
