About Adelaide Sexual Health Centre

Adelaide Sexual Health Centre provides a free, confidential service. This includes advice, testing and treatment for all sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

We also require all clients to complete the “AM I OK” self-assessment tool. This will determine if an appointment is needed. For those that do not need an appointment, options will be provided at the end of the self-assessment.

Opening times

Monday: 9.15 am to 4.30 pm 
Tuesday: 11.15 am to 6.30 pm 
Wednesday: 11.15 am to 6.30 pm 
Thursday: 1.00 pm to 4.30 pm 
Friday: 9.15 am to 4.30 pm

To help improve patient access and waiting times, we are now taking appointments. To make an appointment please call us on (08) 7117 2800. We will offer you the next available appointment or refer you to an alternative clinical service, such as a General Practice or SHINE SA.

2021 Public Holidays

The clinic will be closed on the following public holidays in 2021:

  • Friday 24th December 2021 open 9.15 am to 3.00 pm
  • Saturday 25th December 2021 through 3rd January 2022 - closed every day
  • 4th January 2022 - clinic open 11.15 am to 6.30 pm.

Located on the first floor of the Chest Clinic Building. It is located on the south-eastern corner of the intersection of North terrace and Frome road. The entrance is in the middle of the building.


All the information you give us, and the results of tests, are strictly confidential. We will not release information about you without your written permission.

Annual Reports

Annual sentinel surveillance reports are produced by Adelaide Sexual Health Centre. These reports can provide early indication of an outbreak.
