Physiotherapy Clinic at Flinders Medical Centre
Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) Physiotherapy outpatient services are provided at Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) and Noarlunga Hospital (NH). Services provided may differ at each site depending on referral reason.
Services
Adult Acute Musculoskeletal
Musculoskeletal conditions including post trauma, spinal pain, and soft tissue injuries.
Women’s Health
Conditions including pelvic floor dysfunction, and pregnancy related musculoskeletal disorders. (At both FMC and NH). Antenatal service at FMC is only provided for patients booked for delivery at FMC.
Paediatric
Conditions include congenital and developmental musculoskeletal/orthopaedic conditions, gross motor delay and coordination disorders, post traumatic musculoskeletal injuries (FMC only).
Hand Therapy Service
Provided in association with Occupational Therapy (FMC).
Lymphoedema
Outpatient service for those requiring lymphoedema treatment options. Provided in association with the Lymphoedema Clinic.
Referrals
Written referrals for musculoskeletal, women’s health and paediatric physiotherapy must be faxed to (08) 8204 3040.
Written referrals for adult respiratory physiotherapy must be faxed to (08) 7117 0724.
