Veteran Health and Wellbeing Pathways bring together trusted information, practical guidance, and connection to local services to support the wellbeing of veterans, their families, carers, and the wider community across South Australia.

Resources are organised around nine Veteran Wellbeing Domains, each representing a key area where veterans and families may seek support:

  • physical health and practical needs
  • home and housing
  • social support and connection
  • meaning and spirituality
  • justice and safety
  • income and finance
  • education and skills
  • employment and meaningful activity
  • recognition and respect

Note: Mental health domain is currently in development.

Aligned with the Defence and Veteran Family Wellbeing Strategy 2025–2030, these nine domains reflect the interconnected nature of wellbeing and recognise that support in one area can strengthen wellbeing across others.

Each page contains straightforward information and resources from government, community, and veteran focused organisations. The aim is to make support easier to navigate and more visible, reducing the complexity often associated with finding help across multiple systems and services.

Veteran Health and Wellbeing Pathways also recognises that families, carers, community organisations, service providers, employers, and advocates all play vital roles in supporting veterans.

The website is intended to support not only veterans themselves, but also those who support them, by providing shared pathways to information and services.
