EntryCheck SA - Assessment of LGA risk level
From 23 November 2021, if you are planning to travel to South Australia you must complete an EntryCheck SA application. EntryCheck SA will assess your risk and advise of any entry conditions.
In states and territories where there is evidence of community transmission of COVID-19, the risk level of a local government area is determined by vaccination rates in that area.
This information will be updated weekly, based on Australian Government vaccination data, and additional public health information taking into account variations in data.
Please note: the Australian Capital Territory does not have a separate LGA. ACT is currently classified as Level 2 - Low Risk.
The below information is a guide only and you must adhere to the entry conditions specified in your EntryCheck SA approval.
All travellers to South Australia, who are 12 years and 2 months or older, must have completed a full course of a COVID-19 vaccine approved or recognised by the Therapeutic Goods Administration. Unvaccinated people are not permitted to travel to South Australia, unless they have an exemption. Read more information about EntryCheck SA and entry conditions.
