Adelaide Metropolitan COVID Care Centre Changes

Please note that COVID Care Centre at NALHN / Lyell McEwin Hospital has now ceased operations and the SALHN / Flinders Medical Centre COVID Care Centre will cease face to face reviews and COVID antiviral access from September 30.

Access to National Medical Stockpile COVID medications will still be provided via centralised referral to local hospital triage teams. Metro Adelaide patients requiring IV infusions for COVID antivirals can expect to receive their first dose at the CALHN COVID Care Centre in Sefton Park.

Regional pathways for NMS COVID medications remain unchanged.

To assist patients to access face to face review of COVID symptoms not requiring an emergency presentation, please consider GP led respiratory clinics across the state.

For clinical advice about where best to refer your patient, you can also call the state-wide Clinician Advice Line 1800 313 090.
