At the Mental Health Education Hub SA, we specialise in facilitating high-quality learning and development opportunities designed to support and strengthen the Mental Health Workforce across South Australia.
The term “Hub” reflects our commitment to shared learning and collaboration.
Our goal
Our goal is to enhance workforce capability, improve service outcomes, and help build a more resilient mental health system.
To assist in achieving our goal, we seek course evaluation from participants. This information is confidential and anonymous but provides us with valuable insights.
Our responsibilities
The Education Hub is responsible for developing a statewide learning and development model designed to create, deliver and sustain comprehensive education programs that align with both national and state mental health workforce priorities.
Our aims
We aim to provide participants with up-to-date knowledge, practical skills, and evidence-based strategies required to provide effective, compassionate care. Our diverse range of education sessions cater to and across all levels of the health workforce.
The Hub also aims to serve as a single point of access for mental health education, integrating existing sector programs to enhance accessibility for all.
Our programs
To ensure accessibility and flexibility, our programs are delivered across multiple platforms, including face-to-face workshops, online learning, and digital resources—wherever possible.
Explore our sessions, connect with peers, and join us in “Learning today what we need to know tomorrow”.
The Mental Health Education Hub SA also recommends a number of online learning platforms. These platforms compliment our programs.
Our vision
Through ongoing consultation and collaboration with the mental health workforce, the Hub will promote learning and development opportunities that support best practice. These efforts are guided by the Plan for Learning and Development - Mental Health, ensuring a coordinated and strategic approach to support and grow our mental health workforce.
