Effective and positive steps to take within a changing workplace training course

Suitable for all staff

3 ½  hour Zoom or face to face course

Facilitated by SA Mental Health Training Centre. See Mental health training calendar page for workshop dates.

Workshop aim

This workshop will look at the ways that we can protect ourselves against the risks often associated with the inevitable ongoing change that we all experience in organisations. Such risks can involve feeling disempowered, stressed and run down.

Learning about how we cope as an individual as well as part of a team can help us to recognise what risks are relevant to us and importantly what we need to do to help. The good news is that there are some very useful approaches and frameworks that we can adopt and practice that will benefit ourselves, those we work alongside as well as our workplace culture.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the workshop participants will have an increased understanding of:

  • The impact that our learning and thinking style(s) play in coping with everyday possibilities and struggles
  • The way we can locate and practice resiliency
  • How we as an individual and as part of a team function and how we can promote workplace wellbeing
  • The variety of evidence based resources that we can use to build our strengths and capabilities when confronting ongoing change
